The Ergonomics & Hygiene Conference & Exhibition has grown into Singapore’s leading annual forum focused on healthier, safer and more human-centered workplaces.
The 2026 edition brings together occupational hygienists, ergonomists, human factors specialists, workplace safety and health professionals, engineers, HR leaders, business decision-makers and solution providers for two days of learning, discussion and professional exchange.
More than an event, the conference is a platform for connecting innovation with practical workplace application. It creates space for ideas, industry perspectives and collaborative conversations that help organisations turn insight into action.
Since its launch in 2022, the conference has steadily grown in scale, visibility and relevance, reflecting the increasing importance of workplace health across Singapore and the wider region.
The Ergonomics & Hygiene Conference & Exhibition was established in 2022 to provide Singapore and the region with a dedicated forum where professionals can come together to discuss the future of workplace health.
Workplace health challenges are becoming more complex. Organisations today need to consider not only safety, but also occupational hygiene, ergonomics, human factors, worker well-being, digital transformation and the impact of new technologies on the way people work.
Singapore and the wider region need a forum that brings these conversations together in one place. This conference was created to meet that need by providing a professional platform for learning, exchange and collaboration across disciplines and industries.
The 2026 theme reflects the next stage in the conference series. As the event has matured, its focus has also evolved to address the real issues shaping the future of work. Today, AI, digital systems and human-centered design are becoming increasingly important in how organisations manage health, safety and performance.
This year’s conference will explore how innovation can be translated into meaningful workplace impact. The emphasis is on practical application, responsible implementation and ideas that help professionals and organisations respond to changing workplace realities.
Since the first edition in 2022, the conference series has shown steady growth in participation and reach. In its earlier years, the conference welcomed around 200 delegates. By last year, attendance had grown to around 400, reflecting stronger professional interest and wider recognition across the sector.
This growth signals more than rising attendance. It shows that the profession values a platform where specialists, practitioners, leaders and partners can come together to exchange ideas, share experience and strengthen the future of workplace health in Singapore and the region.
What began in 2022 as a new platform for workplace health professionals has developed into a growing annual conference series that continues to build momentum, broaden participation and strengthen its role in the regional conversation.
Workplace health sits at the intersection of many disciplines, yet professionals do not always have enough opportunities to come together in one forum to exchange ideas. A conference series like this helps create shared understanding across occupational hygiene, ergonomics, human factors, workplace safety and health, organisational leadership and industry innovation.
For Singapore and the region, this kind of platform is important because it supports stronger professional networks, more relevant discussion and better translation of knowledge into workplace practice.
