Title: Assessing and Reducing the Risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD)

Description: The workshop will present an overview of the main types of MSD seen in occupational settings – including a brief review of their known occupational causes (based on scientific studies dating over many years) and some misconceptions. It will then provide pointers towards authoritative sources of material for assessing the risks relating to each of the three main categories covered, together with guidelines on risk reduction, drawing on over 40 years of experience as a professional ergonomist in the industry
